I have allot to update, i guess it means we have been busy since i haven't been on here in a while.
WARNING: long post ahead......
First off we have been getting allot of rain here, one night i was at my parents and within minutes there street was flooded, it was crazy how hard and fast the rain came down. then just like that its over and it all dries up.
As you can see in the picture it was past my ankles and i was standing in the road.
Then me and paisley took an impromptu trip to st george with my parents. We were gone for almost a week it was fun but i missed pax and greg and towards the end paisley was ready to go home, but she was so good and it was so fun to spend some one on one time with her.
We did tons of swimming, its crazy to see her swimming by herself. she used to scream bloody murder when we would put her in the water, she HATED it. Then we bought her some puddle jumpers and now shes a freakin fish. she was jumping in and going under water, me and mom were just in shock, i'm so glad she likes swimming now.
Since we drove down with my parents we were stranded allot with out a car because my parents go golfing allot while they are down there. So one day we decided to walk to a fun park that i didn't think was that far, it ended being allot further then i thought, and it was SO hot. We even had some cars pull over and offer us a ride lol (dont worry i said no) Even thought it was a far walk it was a fun adventure and paisley thought it was a blast.
Here she is posing on a little cliff that was on our adventure.
Then the very next day we got back from st george this little cutie started pre school. She was SO excited when i dropped her off she just gave me a hug and said bye mom, didn't even look back or cry like most of the other kids. I guess she was more then ready for school to start. lol All the parents thought it was so weird i wasnt crying my eyes out, i have to remind them i stay at home with my kids so i have been with paisley every day since she was born, i was more then ready for her to start school, she had been getting SO bored and antsy it really was a good thing for her to get out of the house. and besides i have pax to still entertain me at home :)
Cutest picture of pax with glasses on, now he looks just like his daddy!!!
So last Thursday this happened and it was the cutest thing ever!!!!
Too bad it was a moment that i should have known brother doesn't act this mellow so this was the calm before the storm.
This night pax woke up burning up with a very high fever, so i gave him some motrin and he went back to sleep. Well at 4 am he woke up again burning up again this time his fever was 104.8 so i freaked and new it was not good. He was very lethargic and couldn't even sit up on his own. So off to the pediatricians office.

This is a horrible picture of me and paisley actually snapped it herself, she was playing with my phone while we were waiting in the peds office. but you can see how AWFUL pax looks, he made me do laps around the office to calm him down, you can tell how bad he is burning up this is after motrin and the nurse gave him tylenol too and he was still burning up. He couldn't even open his eyes, when the doctor was examining him he was just slumped over. The doctor was VERY concerned about him and told me to take him to primary children's ER, i started crying and freaking out. He calmed me down and told me they would check him for strep and a his urine for a bladder infection but if those came back negative then i would have to go up there. They checked his oxygen and his heart rate and those were fine which was a relief. All the other tests came back negative so he really wanted us to go up there to figure out why his fever was so high, he said his white blood count came back a little elevated which made him think there was an infection in his body. I called greg while i was at the doctor and seriously not more then 10 min later greg walked in the door i was SO glad to see him there, i bet he raced so fast there. so thankfully greg took him up to primary childrens ER. i then called my mom hysterical, she was really slow at work so she told me to drive to her work and she would meet me outside, luckily paisley fell asleep in the car so when i picked my mom up we just sat in the parking lot while she was calming me down. I didnt want to go up to the hospital unless i NEEDED too, if you have ever gone to primary childrens you would understand why i dont want to go there, it really is an awful place to be with all the sick kids, it gives me MAJOR anxiety just to walk in the doors. luckily greg called me and the ER was slow so they got him right back and the doctor on call told greg that pax was fine and would more then likely be discharged. So i calmed down allot after the doctor said that. Greg was there mainly for observation, they got his fever down and didnt feel it was necessary to do blood work. They got him to eat and walk around, so after that they discharged him and said it was more then likely a virus he was fighting. The on call doctor at primarys wasn't too happy that the doctor at the pediatricians office sent him there. (we didn't get in to our pediatrician because she doesn't work on Fridays,) He tried calling him to ask him why he sent him up there and wanted all this blood work and even a chest x-ray, he felt it was a bit much.
this was pax at primary children's when he finally started feeling a little better.
Me and paisley were at my parents house, so when greg told me they were discharged and going home we stopped by the store and paisley wanted to get pax a balloon and a toy.
He Loved it, i was so glad when i walked in to see him walking around, he gave mom a good scare that day. I was so grateful greg came to my rescue, i had a horrible night with pax and didnt get much sleep and then all the worry and anxiety on top of it was exhausting, sometimes us mommy's need help and i needed it that day.
He did much better that night and woke up the next morning with no fever!!! The doctor called and said the test came back positive for rhino-virus, so basically a virus that he will just fight off on his own. This poor kid has been through so much in his little life, i hope he can get a break soon and just be a happy healthy toddler.
Later that night we went to my parents for a last bbq and camp fire. so sad summer is over :(
Now that pax is back to his normal self he had to make up for all the times he wasn't getting into trouble. He has figured out how to get on my counter and get my makeup, he does it so fast hes such a stinker, he figures out when im busy and my back is turned and that's when he strikes.
trying on my mascara.
Now my hot pink lipstick.
Yes i know i know he has a binky still. for some reason i cant take it away from him, its so weird how with paisley she didn't have hers by now and i was so good about not letting her have it, we just threw hers all away and never looked back. I think its because he has been through allot of trauma and i just feel bad for him and he likes his binky so much more then paisley ever did. My mom HATES it she gets so mad at me, i dont know when i will take it away im just not ready yet.
Paisley is very excited that her hair is getting long, its been hard to let her grow it out. it used to take me two seconds to blow dry and style her cute short bob, it takes allot longer to blow dry now, and im trying to make it cute still but its hard lol
The only time i like her hair is when i style it curly, she has naturally curly hair but i also curled some of it with a little curling iron, her hair lasts for days like this.
WHEW that was long, well until again BYE!!!
