Happy Birthday Greg!!!

Happy Birthday to my best friend and the love of my life. We have been through a lot with each other, He was there when i learned how to drive, took me to my prom, proposed to me while i was in hair school, married me April 12,2007, welcomed our first daughter Paisley June 17,2009 and our second baby, a son Paxton Jan. 17,2012. He is he most amazing man EVER. Hes done a lot in his 28 years, i'm so proud of him.

My dancing baby.

Well my baby girl started dance. She has been SO excited to go to dance. I didn't get to see her on her first day  because she had dance the same time we were picking my brother up from the airport so daddy had to take her. i was so nervous for her that it was probably a good thing i wasn't there lol  this is the first class paisley has ever been in, so i was so worried she wouldn't listen to the teacher, or talk to the other kids, or participate in class. but thank goodness she was awesome, greg sent me a video of her warming up and it was adorable. she listened so good to the teacher and even held hands with some other little girls. the teacher even had her stand up and tell everybody what she did this summer and she told them she went swimming. i would have died to see that. Greg did say their was another little girl that just sat on the the floor the entire class the teacher couldn't get her to do one thing, she just sat with her arms crossed. i felt so bad when he said that, he said the mom just sat their and watched probably hoping her little girl would do something. hopefully after a few times of going to class that little girl will participate. Paisley cant wait to go again this week, i cant wait to take her and watch her dance. Greg said watching her in class made him teary eyed, our little baby is growing up so fast. we are so proud of her.

Look who's home.....

can you believe it, HES HOME!!! it was so wonderful to actually run up to him and  give him a HUGE hug. i literally couldn't stop touching him, when somebody you know is having a really hard time the first thing you want to do is hug them, and through this whole ordeal with my brother i have only got to talk to him over the phone, when all i really wanted to do was just give him a big hug and tell him it will be ok. i FINALLY got to do that. Its amazing how are family feels whole again. we all had a huge smile on our face, it felt so good. oh and pax meeting uncle mat for the first time was heart melting, he just grabbed mats finger and was smiling ear to ear, we all were just cracking up it was so adorable. Mat looks so good. He feels good. His attitude is so positive. He cant wait to start his new life. First thing he wants to do is get a job, hopefully he can get one fast to keep him busy. he cant wait to go golfing with the guys, he said he wants to enjoy some outdoor activities before the weather turns cold. We are just so thrilled to have him home, and are ready for mat to start his new life.

I'm a big kid now!!

This little diva is potty trained. I never thought i would say those words. all i can say about this experience is they are ready when THEY are ready. do not push them, do not force them. i promise they will do it on their own. paisley just turned 3 in june and she started using the potty all on her own, i mean not even telling me she needed to go. She wakes up in the morning takes her diaper off and puts her underwear on and uses the potty all day long by herself. its crazy. i pushed and begged and bribed her before paxton was born to use the potty and she wouldn't. i got so much grief from people telling me i NEEDED to potty train her, i dont understand why people say those things to you and make you feel like a bad parent when in the end it all works out and they will do it when they are ready. I feel bad now for all the pressure i put on her just because of what other people were telling me.

on another note my brother comes home in 13 days people. im so excited to see him and give him a big hug. but in another breath my stomach is in knots, i hope and pray he is better and that he can stay clean and get his life back on track. i have been having all sorts of crazy dreams about it lately. i just want my brother back, the old mat with that cute smile and sparkle in is eye. i want him to meet my kids and play with them, i want paisley and pax to call him uncle mat, i want him to see his little sister being a mom. i want to hang out with him and talk with him.i want him my dad, greg, and devan (my brother in law) to all have a guys day and go golfing. i want him to be HAPPY.
