Look who's home.....

can you believe it, HES HOME!!! it was so wonderful to actually run up to him and  give him a HUGE hug. i literally couldn't stop touching him, when somebody you know is having a really hard time the first thing you want to do is hug them, and through this whole ordeal with my brother i have only got to talk to him over the phone, when all i really wanted to do was just give him a big hug and tell him it will be ok. i FINALLY got to do that. Its amazing how are family feels whole again. we all had a huge smile on our face, it felt so good. oh and pax meeting uncle mat for the first time was heart melting, he just grabbed mats finger and was smiling ear to ear, we all were just cracking up it was so adorable. Mat looks so good. He feels good. His attitude is so positive. He cant wait to start his new life. First thing he wants to do is get a job, hopefully he can get one fast to keep him busy. he cant wait to go golfing with the guys, he said he wants to enjoy some outdoor activities before the weather turns cold. We are just so thrilled to have him home, and are ready for mat to start his new life.

I'm a big kid now!!

This little diva is potty trained. I never thought i would say those words. all i can say about this experience is they are ready when THEY are ready. do not push them, do not force them. i promise they will do it on their own. paisley just turned 3 in june and she started using the potty all on her own, i mean not even telling me she needed to go. She wakes up in the morning takes her diaper off and puts her underwear on and uses the potty all day long by herself. its crazy. i pushed and begged and bribed her before paxton was born to use the potty and she wouldn't. i got so much grief from people telling me i NEEDED to potty train her, i dont understand why people say those things to you and make you feel like a bad parent when in the end it all works out and they will do it when they are ready. I feel bad now for all the pressure i put on her just because of what other people were telling me.

on another note my brother comes home in 13 days people. im so excited to see him and give him a big hug. but in another breath my stomach is in knots, i hope and pray he is better and that he can stay clean and get his life back on track. i have been having all sorts of crazy dreams about it lately. i just want my brother back, the old mat with that cute smile and sparkle in is eye. i want him to meet my kids and play with them, i want paisley and pax to call him uncle mat, i want him to see his little sister being a mom. i want to hang out with him and talk with him.i want him my dad, greg, and devan (my brother in law) to all have a guys day and go golfing. i want him to be HAPPY.

Paxton 6 months old

oh man my baby is 6 months old already, he can sit up on his own and has his two bottom teeth. he really is the happiest baby i know, he only cries if hes tired or hungry. he adores his older sister, i swear she can be hitting him on the head and he thinks its funny. he eats like a champ, im a little worried hes going to be obese lol i sure do love this little guy im so grateful for him, he puts me in a good mood no matter what. we love you pax man!!!

Paxton 4 months

Pax had his 4 month check up before we left for st george.

He is our CHUNK!!!! I love how different him and paisley are. She was so tiny and barley on the charts, and i was always so worried about her. I LOVE that he is just perfect and i can just enjoy him and not be a stress case all the time. Even paisley at 4 months would not let ANYBODY else hold her but mom or dad, she would scream her head off if anybody esle held her. Pax will let anybody hold him he doesnt care, i love it!!!! And the smiles, he is so freakin smiley, even when he wakes up the first thing he does is smile. I remember we would try ANYTHING to get pais to smile, nothing would work. and when she would wake up she would cry, she still does at 3 yrs old lol. He is so close to rolling over, and he can sit up on his own for just a second. He does this new thing were he fake coughs after you cough, its so cute. and i taught him how to blow bubbles from his lips, he babbles alot and he likes to be tickled. He will sleep about 7 hours at night before he wakes up for a bottle, but then he always goes right back to sleep. He is a way good napper too, usually 2-3 hour naps. This was another huge issue with paisley i couldnt get her to nap more then 30 min at a time when she was 4 months old. and with pax we just lay him down and he falls asleep on his own, sometimes he will talk to himself before he falls asleep. with paisley we would rock her to sleep for over an hour. wow the things you learn after your first baby lol i would say the only bad thing with pax growing so fast is that we have to buy him new clothes ALOT, he already is wearing 9 month clothes, and even some 12 month clothes WTF!!!! i just love this boy, he makes us want 5 more kids, only if all could be this good. ;)

St george/wedding

We went to st george for my cousins wedding/memorial weekend. We were there from wed. to mon. so we had alot of time to play. Too bad the weather wasnt very good, it was SO windy that it wasnt even fun to play outside, but we did get a couple good days. We did the usual swimming and hanging out at the condo taking naps. The day of my cousins wedding i was gone all day setting up the place and then doing hair for the wedding party, i was so tired at the end of the night. but it was a beautiful wedding, and lots of fun. we found a splash pad that is so cute, paisley loved it. Greg just recently bought a long board and has been on it a little bit, one day at the condo when the kids were napping he decided to go for a little ride, he had been gone for a while so me and my sis were getting a little worried, well right then he comes hobbling into the condo bleeding and his clothes all ripped. I FREAKED out. He was looking behind him to see if a car was coming, because he thought he heard one, and while his head was turned he hit something and flew off his long board and rolled on the asphalt like 3 times. He somehow hit his head, which we werent sure how because he had a helmet on that had a lip on it. He got really BAD road rash on one side of his entire body, his ankle is really bruised and he jammed his finger which also is really bruised. I dont think the pics show how bad it really is, he got a HUGE goose egg on his head, now that its been a couple days since the accident he has bruises all over his body. poor kid was in ALOT of pain for a couple days, lets just say he wont be on that thing for a while. he said it scared him pretty bad. the kids were total angels the entire time. the only issue was on the way home we got in bad stop and go traffic, and pais got car sick and we had to pull over so she could throw up, but besides that everything was really fun.

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers day to all the beautiful moms out there. Its so crazy this year i have 2 kids. Im so lucky to have the best mom as an example to give to my kids. Love you all.
